El Locanda Al Leon ocupa un edificio veneciano histórico del siglo XV. La plaza de San Marcos está cerca, al otro lado del Puente de los Suspiros.

Las habitaciones disponen de baño, aire acondicionado, minibar y TV vía satélite. Algunas habitaciones se encuentran en un edificio moderno ubicadas a 20 metros.

El Locanda es un establecimiento para no fumadores, ha sido completamente reformado y todavía presenta una arquitectura original de época y muebles tradicionales tanto en las habitaciones como en las zonas comunes. Se sirve un desayuno continental de 08:00 a 10:00 en la sala de desayunos.

El personal puede ayudar a los huéspedes a subir y bajar el equipaje por las escaleras al hacer los registros de entrada y salida. Se ofrece consigna de equipaje gratuita hasta la hora de salida.
