El Maples ocupa una casa victoriana situada en la localidad de Hythe, a 2,7 km del parque nacional New Forest. La ciudad de Southampton se encuentra a 25 minutos en el ferry Hythe. Hay WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones.

Todas las habitaciones disponen de TV de pantalla plana con reproductor de DVD, toma USB de carga, té, galletas caseras y toallas gruesas. Hay utensilios de planchado disponibles bajo petición.

Todas las mañanas se sirve un desayuno caliente completo con fruta, yogur y mermeladas caseras. Se puede comer en el comedor o en el patio jardín durante los meses más cálidos.

La zona es ideal para jugar al golf. El centro de golf Dibden se encuentra a 6 minutos en coche y ofrece vistas panorámicas al New Forest. Desde Hythe se puede disfrutar de unas vistas pintorescas a Southampton Water y de sus impresionantes cruceros que dan al puerto casi todos los días.
